I am very proud to be the Principal of this fine school, that has served the community of Dalby for many years.

Our School has long been recognised as a quality school that consistently delivers exceptional academic, cultural and sporting opportunities. At Dalby South State School we are proud of this tradition and further enhance this achievement through continually focusing on the student as an individual.

We give students the opportunities they need to feel success through their personal strengths so they can develop a positive self image that encourages them to excel and have the confidence to master new skills.

Our staff set challenging yet realistic expectations of “personal bests” in an environment enhanced by strong links between Parents and Teachers. With Parents, Teachers and Students working together our children can achieve great things!

Our school is at the “Cutting Edge” of social skill development through our involvement in the School-wide Positive Behaviour Support Program. A program originating in Missouri USA, it has been refined to suit our school and is being implemented carefully over time. This is an exciting project that has wonderful outcomes for students and we are excited about participating in this Education Queensland Innovation.
