Outdoor Classroom Day

Today the students and teachers joined over 62,000 children across Queensland in the “Outdoor Classroom Day”. As part of an international campaign celebrating the power of outdoor learning for young minds, our students participated in many exciting learning experiences outside their normal classroom environments. The weather was perfect for the occasion and some children even came prepared, spreading their picnic blankets under trees while they read their books or wrote stories.

Many classes took inspiration from nature in their art activities, while others took a close-up look at the inhabitants in our worm farms. All over the school there were many happy faces to be seen outdoors today!
