Welcome back to the new school year.
As we begin this year, I would like to confirm the COVID safe arrangements that we have in place.
Of course, the new normal that we all observe involves washing our hands regularly, maintaining social distancing and not coming to school when we are not feeling well.
We look forward to seeing our students return to school on Wednesday 27 January. Parents are welcome to venture onto the school grounds to take up with teachers as required.
As a general measure, as school gets up and running, we ask that if students are of the appropriate age and are comfortable finding their way to their classrooms on their own then they do just that. Younger students say in prep and year 1 may need an older student or family member to walk them to their classroom and pick them up in the afternoon.
We ask that parents make the drop off at the classroom door and only enter if needing to have a conversation with the classroom teacher.
At the conclusion of the school day we still ask that parents do not congregate in entry areas and observe social distancing requirements of 1.5m at all times.
We, like you, want 2021 to be a successful and enjoyable school year for all of our students and their families. Your assistance in complying with these important requests is greatly appreciated.
