After the disappointment of not being able to go to Canberra and the snow country due to COVID restrictions for our biennial camp, our first group of Year 5 and 6 students headed off on their Barrier Reef adventure. Over the past week, they have among other things visited the HInkler Hall of Fame, Koorana Crocodile Farm and Capricorn Caves as well whale watching at Hervey Bay, fossicking for thunder eggs at Mt Hay, learning how to snorkel and spending a day snorkelling at Whitehaven Bay. It has certainly been a whirlwind tour of many superb attractions.
During the past week, we have put around 1500 photos of their excursion on our SkoolBag app for parents to enjoy.
Our second and final group will head off on Thursday for their amazing week. Pretty sure they are looking forward to the same wonderful adventure!
