Our Prep to Year 3 students enjoyed their swimming carnival this week. The emphasis of the carnival is on joining in and having fun. All students in the younger year levels are involved in the carnival, with each student having three events. The events cater for all levels of swimming from those who can swim 25 metre stroke events to those who enjoy the events of the wading pool include, bucket relay, collect the rings and noodle relay. This carnival gives our Prep to Year 3 students a chance to practice the skills they have been learning in their swimming lessons this term.
A big thank you to our Year 6 students leaders for their help during the day, Mrs Glasby for her organisation and to all our staff and parents who came to help and cheer. At the end of the day, Waratah won the trophy however every student who participated was a winner.
