Our P&C helpers and students who help with recycling on Friday afternoons are very thankful to have their new recycling troughs to stand at to sort the poppers, cans and bottles. No more bending over or working off the ground. A huge thankyou to RDB Welding for building this stand. It certainly makes life much easier for our helpers. Did you know that our P&C profits by about $50 from this recycling each week? It can't be done without helpers though. If you have a spare 20 mins between 2-2:30pm on a Friday, come on down to the oval and lend a hand.
Currently all recycling money goes to our long-term project of a sensory garden, which will be built in front of the SEP on the Bunya Street side. We already have new paving and sails there! When finished, the sensory garden will provide another amazing learning area for students. As well as helping on a Friday afternoon, you can contribute by using the P&C code C10262819 at the Dalby recycling centre or dropping your recycling, without lids or straws, off at school.
