Dalby South students tackled a real-world challenge from Finch Engineering crafting a working protype that wowed both their teachers and the Finch Engineering team. The primary focus was the manufacturing of chaser bin bracket prototypes, a task assigned to the students as part of this school-industry project. The enthusiasm and commitment of the student group has exceeded our expectations.
After development of the prototypes, students had an onsite visit to Finch Engineering for prototype testing and the presentation of their Research and Design folios. There were certainly some impressive designs.
We're excited to see the powerful synergy between Queensland's schools and the industry, as it not only enhances the educational experience for our students but also fosters innovation, practical learning, and a promising future for all involved.
