Over the past few weeks, our Year 5 and Year 6 students have had the opportunity to take part in two incredible school camps, travelling through some of North Queensland's most beautiful locations.
Students embarked on a journey that took them through Maryborough, Bundaberg, Rockhampton and Airlie Beach — discovering unique sights, history and experiences along the way. The adventure culminated with a truly unforgettable day snorkelling and exploring the pristine sands of Whitehaven Beach on the Great Barrier Reef.
After soaking up the sunshine and natural beauty of the reef, students flew back to Brisbane before completing their final leg of the journey home to Dalby by bus — tired but full of wonderful memories.
We would like to sincerely thank our P&C Association for their ongoing support of these camps. We also acknowledge the Queensland Government for their financial travel assistance, which helped make this experience more affordable for our families.
A magnificent time was had by all on both camps, and we are especially grateful to the dedicated staff who gave up so much of their own time to make these trips possible.
What an unforgettable adventure for our Year 5 and 6 students!
