Dalby South State School has well equipped classrooms and facilities.  Each classroom has its own electronic smart TV and a number of classrooms also have a full audio sound field system which amplifies the teacher’s voice to an optimum level while excluding background noise to allow students the best opportunity to be able to hear and understand all classroom instruction thus facilitating optimal learning.

The school has a well-resourced Library and Music room and has two fully networked and resourced computer labs. Each classroom has a pod of networked desktop computers as well as direct access to laptops and iPads that can be used throughout the school day to enhance learning.

Our Multi-purpose Hall is used daily for a number of activities either sporting or cultural. It includes space that is home to our large instrumental music program as well as having a high quality sports floor and that is used for a range of sporting activities. Kids Club Dalby use a room in this complex for before school, after school and holiday care.

Our Sports Oval and outdoor play spaces offer students a range of places for outdoor games. We host the Bunya Zone Athletics on a biennial basis and provide space for various community sports out of school hours.

Our sensory garden adds a beautiful space for students to explore at break times and use within curriculum time for learning purposes.

There is more specific information about our Tuckshop, Library and School Uniform on the tabs within this section.

We are proud of our gardens and facilities and seek to continually improve the Dalby South environment for our students and community.
