Dalby South P&C proudly participates in Containers for Change recycling. At school, eligible containers are placed in separate recycling bins each day at break times and sorted by volunteers on a Friday afternoon before delivering to our local Containers for Change depot in Nicholson Street.
Families can also donate by either taking eligible containers to any Containers for Change facility in Queensland and using the Dalby South P&C code: C10262819 or by dropping off your bags of eligible bottles, cans and paperboard drink containers to the office. Please remember, to take lids off and straws out!
Most aluminium, glass, plastic, steel and liquid paperboard drink containers between 150ml and 3L are eligible for a 10 cent refund. If you would like to check further on a containers eligibility for refund you can do so at the Containers for Change website.
Dalby South P&C supports various school projects with the money raised from Containers for Change. Thee have included the sensory garden, softfall for climbing areas and student camps.
